The Basilica of Saint Teodoro in Pavia is one of the oldest churches in the city, built more than 900 years ago.

Restauro E Arte carried out the restoration of the external surfaces of the small and fragile lantern in red brick and white marble columns, year 2020.

The intervention involved the cleaning and consolidation of the external facings and the restoration of fragments of ancient plates, placed on the outside of the lantern, dating back to the period of the Crusades and of oriental origin.

A job completed just before the frost and snow, on a monument of great value. A unique and incomparable view over the entire historic center of Pavia, for many years the ancient capital of the Lombards first and of the Italian Kingdom later.
